By defeating Stanfurd 71-61, California grabbed sole possession of their first Pac-10 Championship in 50 years! Congrats to the Seniors and thanks to Mike Montgomery for doing what you were hired to do in just your second season. Yea, the Pac-10 is down but a championship is a championship and we can finally raise a banner in Haas that we can be proud of. Congrats to senior guard Jerome Randle for being named Pac-10 Player of the Year; Randle averaged 18.7 PPG and 4 APG and was a key cog to leading the Golden Bears to the Pac-10 title. Senior Patrick Christopher joined Randle on the All Pac-10 1st Team, while Jamal Boykin and Theo Robertson were named to the All Pac-10 2nd Team.
