Andrei Iosivas Makes History Through Joe Burrow Red-Zone Connection

Andrei Iosivas made some history this past Sunday that can be chalked up to nice trust built with quarterback Joe Burrow. Iosivas became the only rookie Bengals wideout drafted sixth round or higher to score multiple touchdowns in their first season.

He's built that nice scoring start with two feel plays from Joe Burrow.

"You want any quarterback that you're playing with to trust you, so just the fact that it's Joe means a lot, obviously," Iosivas said to All Bengals' Elise Jesse. "He is probably one of the best or the best quarterback in the league. So it means a lot, but you just want that with any quarterback you're playing with. So I just want to go out there and make the plays when they come to me and just do the right thing when my name is called as well, so I'm just hoping I built that trust with him and the coaching staff."

The Princeton product has three catches for 14 yards and two scores as he continues to learn the playbook and fit into a loaded Bengals pass-catching stable.

"I'm still learning the offense as we go because there are wrinkles we put in little new game plan stuff," Iosivas said. "So I'm still trying to get super comfortable. But that was the biggest part for me, just knowing multiple positions so that I can be like the dude that they plug and play anywhere if they need it. And that's kind of what I expected my role to be and it's panning out well for me so far."

He can catch keep making history on Sunday night against the Bills.
